There have been lots of folks asking about running in Central Park while we are in NYC. Since everyone will have their own plans in NYC, their own schedules and their own run pace, we'll keep this a bit more casual. Common sense says that you should always go out with someone else (and tell folks where you are going and when you plan on being back).
The Marriott Marquis is about 1 mile from the Columbus Circle corner of the park , which is pretty much a straight shot up 7th Ave. The Central Park folks have lots of info on their website about running paths (the expected direction you should run, right of way etc...)
If you were to run the perimeter of the park, its about 6 miles--but you could do shorter or longer runs. Here are some running routes a NYC run group posted.

So, I suggest that you start looking at the map, looking at your schedule and make a comment below about what you are hoping to do/when to see if there are others who want to do the same thing as you!
